Dominic Gohla is an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he contributes to the institute’s work on peace and security.
Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. His main research interests lie in German foreign policy, emerging security challenges, and strategic communications.
Before joining GPPi, Dominic was a trainee at NATO Joint Force Command Brunssum in the Netherlands, working as a political analyst with an emphasis on Eastern Europe and strategic communications. He was also an intern at the German Federal Ministry of Defense, where he contributed to a review of the German military’s UN peacekeeping training.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sciences from University College Maastricht, where he focused on international affairs, economics, and philosophy.
