Justin Dubois

Justin Dubois is currently finishing his B.C.L/LL.B. at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He previously completed an MSc in Forced Migration from the University of Oxford and an Honors B.A. in International Studies and German from Colby College, during which he spent a year at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He also spent a semester studying at UNSW in Sydney, Australia.

Justin's interest lie mostly in the field of migration. His work experience includes a summer with the Refugee Law Project in Kampala, Uganda, another with a Canadian law firm, an internship with the European Parliament in Brussels (office of Cem Özdemir, MEP) and consulting engagements with Francophone NGOs in his Canadian home province of Saskatchewan.

He was a Summer Fellow with GPPi's Berlin office in July and August 2005. He re-joined GPPi in June 2006 before continuing his graduate education in October 2006. During his studies, he received a Davis United World College scholarship, the Helton Fellowship from the American Society of International Law, the Ballion Memorial Medal from the McGill Faculty of Law and a Humanity in Action Fellowship. Upon the completion of his legal studies in May 2011, he will be clerking at the Federal Court of Canada.
